Brownell: we haven't had the on court success we should have recently.
Brownell: we're going to continue to do things the exact same way.

I cut out the crap about our players being wonderful citizens, as that's not the primary metric for a coaching staff. hth.

^^^ this is what he meant by "all fans care about is wins and losses." You can't judge a basketball team by the scores of the games… It's much more complicated than that.

Brownell at every other school that is what a coach is judged on wins and losses. You would not have a job at any other major school with that attitude.

Don't forget the whole, I know something needs to change but I really have no idea what I'm going to do about it. Need to hire some groundbreaking assistant, though.

DRad said Brownell came into their meeting with a plan; everything mapped out on what needed to be done. According to this interview that is somewhat of the case. Brownell sees the problems but does not have the answers to them.
