Difference Makers

Difference Makers
Often times I will ask a coach off of the record about a team and often times he will tell me about where the team is really strong. He mentions the special players at their positions. I sometimes ask about a position they don't mention and the coach says something to the

I would put Brian Dawkins above Terry Kinard.

Kinard by a hair. Why? We knew Kinard was NFL material. Dawkins got better after college. Not that he was chopped liver or anything.

I think this team may have more OLs and more LBs drafted into the NFL than any in Clemson history. We have difference makers at QB and WR and maybe with Blanks at safety. I do not know if any one of the OL and LB will be better than some in history... but they have a chance to be the best group in history.

It will be interesting to see. I only see 4 at the moment but I think there be at least 7 on the roster this year... They are the most talented group I remember.

Did they all play LB at Clemson or were some of the DEs? Do you have the names?

and Ashley Sheppard, think I misspoke about Doug Brewster so it will only take 6 to surpass the tigers of 90...

Top Players by position

Mar 14, 2013, 12:14 PM

Just a suggestion. How about doing top players by era -before 50's 50's-60's,70s 80's 90's and so on . The game has changed so much over the years you can't really automatically say all time until you develop eachera. For instance, do you think Banks McFadden would be an all-american today? How about Don Chuy, Wayne Mass or Harry O. for instance? If you just say best all time, it will be the most recient players only I am afarid....
