bit about "some coaches showing more love than others". That is a comment I would have expected out of a prima donna recruit someone else is going after. The types of young men we recruit don't normally count getting their ego stroked as an essential part of recruitment.

I think every single one of our recruits has their ego stroked by a Clemson staffer at one point or another in the recruitment process. Wearing orange-tinted glasses if you believe otherwise.

I simply take that comment as saying that some coaches and schools are showing him more attention than others. Don't know how hard a coach would press if they know they have absolutely no chance. Coaches have a limited amount of time.
