He screwed up everything he touched. Last year, you could have leveraged ND into a 3-5 yr deal, but he let them come and leave on their terms. They had a playoff team, and HAD to have a conference, and Swoffy let them tell him what they were going to do.

He got to the level he achieved through the good ole boy network because it certainly was not competence.
