What about the Lords playing baseball? It’s weird if a mens team does well the players or the team is praise. But when the softball team does well you bozos need to disparage them with a gender disclaimer from the 16th century which is more about character than gender anyway

You are really just looking for ways to be offended. Give it a rest.
By the way, when I was at Clemson (1980s, not the 16th century), female teams were called Lady Tigers. When folks refer to ladies, I don't think they mean any harm/insult. It's an old habit for many. If you want to affect change, perhaps taking a kind, educational approach would be more successful than attacking Clemson fans (including the 93 year old you went after this week). Just a thought.

Things change over time. The fact that no one uses a royal title or gender when talking about the baseball or football teams but feel the need to label the teams who are women is nothing more than misogyny. I guess you need to label them so no one will confuse them with a mens team even though men don’t play softball at the college level?

There really is no hope of getting through to you, is there?
The name Lady Tigers was commonly used for teams where there were men's and women's teams (such as basketball or soccer) back in the day. Some have just extended that practice to all the women's teams. They don't mean any harm. We can all evolve and learn to do better. I have tried to do better. Yes, softball is a new sport at Clemson and there is no men's softball team. Try to be a bit graceful as things don't change over night.
How do you approve of identifying the women's Tigers teams from the men's Tigers team when they play the same sport? Help educate us.

You sound like an old white man in the 60s who called all black men by the term boy. There were in fact male but that’s not why the term was used. And oh by the way they meant no harm….
So use the same nomenclature for the baseball and football teams (gentlemen or lords which is the male form of ladies) and you won’t hear a word from me. Other wise we all know you do mean something by it cause you continue to use the descriptor even though they are obviously female so it serves no legit purpose

Wow, way to project. Don't put that BS on me. You clearly have no interest in a discourse. Just trying to belittle fellow Tiger fans. Good day.

I can hear you now in a thick southern drawl. Yeah boy, we don’t mean nothing by it as it’s just how we talk…
BTW I can tell by your anger you know I am correct but can’t admit it

To refer to a team as “Lady” is a sign of respect and it does separate gender. Yes, I’m an old white male in my 60s. In high school we had our Lady Wildcats. When my kids were in high school there were the Lady T-Wolves. Ever heard of Lady Vols, Lady Gamecocks etc etc….. There’s no shame in in being referred to as a lady. The world needs to respect women more as LADIES now more than ever. There may be some born females that don’t want to be a female. If so, go swim with that man/ wanna be girl. Yes, I’m so glad we can watch LADY athletes. Fight it all you want, a lady is a lady. God did not make a mistake. Flame on if you must.

One other point to educate you: there is no mens softball team so your question is a straw man

Check your reading comprehension. I said there is no men's softball team. My question was how you prefer to distinguish between men's and women's Tigers teams where they do play the same sport (basketball, soccer, tennis, etc.) which you did not answer.
