Do you can the pickles or are they refrigerator pickles? I’ve been making refrigerator dill pickles recently and they have turned out pretty good. Everything I’ve read say they should only be kept up to a couple of months so I only make a few jars at a time.

they are best up to about 6 months but mine are still good after 8 or 9 . My granddaughter still takes a container in her school lunch every day and has not made any complaints . Down to last jar now.

I’ve kept them up to about 6 months but have started making smaller batches lately. I’m on my last jar too so I will probably make some more this weekend since the weather is going to be crappy. Ingles has had some really crispy pickling cucumbers recently. They are 4/5 in a tray near the regular cukes and squash.

cukes from my tiny garden - good way to use all the excess. I wouldn't make so many if my granddaughter didn't like them so much.

My granddaughter loves them too. But I also like them so she gets it honestly.

There is a difference between dinner and supper. Supper is informal and generally the largest meal of the day. Dinner is lighter fare and is served in a more formal setting.
Bet you dumb*** Yankees have been eating suppers all your lives. You were just too stupid to know it.

Lived my whole life in the south. It's either way. The poster crying about Supper is a tool, but you're no better talking about dinner.

His final meal with the disciples The Last Supper. I don't think dinner, or brunch, or any other meal type terms were in there.
By the way, most churches are also ignorant, since they call Holy Communion The Lord's Supper. Lots of ignorance in the world, it seems.

Tossed salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing and steak and potato bites.
Every time a yankee opens his mouth he sounds ignorant.
Plus, Jesus called it supper as in the Last Supper. And he was a very wise man.

More than likely a homemade taco bowl, but may decide to pick up something else after giving a friend a ride to the airport.

Back from the airport. Just cracked open a bottle of Widow Jane 10-year bourbon that my friend bought for me (I told him he didn't have to). I'm sipping on Widow Jane while frying some chicken wings. I'm not much in the mood to cook, so I'll have some seasoned rice with it.

Spaghetti. My wife, daughter, mother in law and sister all ran the Cooper River Bridge run today and it is my son in law’s birthday so we are hanging out in an air bnb in North Charleston.
