Correction- you don’t care. That has nothing to do with other people.
I know personally both Ukrainian and Russian people, and they understand the gravity of the situation. Americans just seem so disconnected from world events, but we’re already involved in this war

not to be un-empathetic but, i think what bothers me most about this whole situation is seeing neighbors and people i personally know that have zero connection to ukraine or russia all of a sudden flying ukrainian flags from their homes when they have not once flown Old Glory. How so many americans can be so unpatriotic and hate our county but all of a sudden be so invested in the ukrainian/russian war?
Trust me I fully understand the gravity of the situation in eastern europe and also have family deployed out there. But my allegiance lies with American soldiers; I pray for them and the innocent who are being caught up in this conflict.

So are you saying that people that don't fly flags hate this country? What if I don't like flags? Whether I choose to fly our flag or not fly our flag or fly the flag of another country in support, has zero to do with whether I love our country or not. The great thing about America is I have that choice.
