Putting us opposite Oklahoma in Softball is brutal for our Softball chances. There are only 2-3 teams in the country we might be incapable of taking a 3 game series against... Oklahoma leads that group.

We're capable of beating any team in the country on any given day but we have yet to prove we can win a series over a top 25 team. This program has yet to take that next step. We're very fortunate to be hosting given the fact we've never won a top 25 series.

Which is actually pretty sad given the duo, and this year, the trio of pitchers we have.

I totally agree, we are one of the top teams in the country, we're just not one of the top 3 teams in the country, and coach Rittman now needs to recruit a few better players with the bat in their hands IMO!!!

Productive at-bat training seems to be in order for softball. Whatever Coach Bakich did with the baseball team worked. Before the season, he said they were not ready from the neck up.

This team is firing on all cylinders but there remains work to do to get there. I want to see us host and win a regional first and then maybe get lucky to host a super-regional.
