the Clemson BOT have ANY say in this, one way or the other. I have no problem with Sammy sitting, say, one-half of the Auburn game. But why penalize CU fans who come to the opener at Clemson. Has Sammy NOT fulfilled all of his obligations set out by Swinney?

I think it has less to do with penalizing fans and more about doing what is right. Sammy committed a crime and should be punished for it.

punishing anyone. Sammy chose to do what he did, so put the blame where the blame needs to be. For all we know, Sammy did not complete what he was supposed to do before practice started.
If it were your son, would you punish him for an arrest by just applying some extra chores? I know I wouldn't. I would get him where it hurts the most to teach the best lesson.

I can't say I agree and I really can't disagree. In Dabo I trust. Sammy is a difference maker but for 2 games, well against Auburn I think we have a deep and talented WR Corp. Humphries will break out and Peake will have more touches now.

Sammy is definitely a difference maker. Hate to see him sit out but I do think that Humphries, Peake, Bryant, Brown, and Nuk are a potent group that most teams would love to have on their side of the ball.

screw up, you get punished regardless of the importance of when and who you are playing. He didn't pick to suspend him only when we play Mauldin High School......much less reinstate him 6 times!
