He sees a place that he can without a doubt start in 2022 with little competition for his talent and he its his home state school. He knows he will be fighting for playing time in 2022 with Bresee and the likes ahead of him and just as talented but with a lot more experience. It was a business decision and I get it. Best of luck to him.

I don't buy the depth chart. Most of those. Guys will be gone after his freshman year amd he could learn a lot from them in that one year.

You don’t by the depth chart really? With the whole sell your brand, new contract deal for 6 to 7 figure deal, and you don’t think a year waiting playing a few snaps here and there isn’t losing money over starting job. Please these kids see the DOLLAR SIGNS now they know how much potentially backing up a year or two is losing big time money if you can ball. Good Luck to him, but if you don’t see the whole sitting and transferring portal becoming more of an issue in keeping and recruiting talented depth your crazy.

It does matter as far as ACC coastal div but doesn’t affect Clemson very much. We’ll go out in 2023 and land a stud DT in 2023 and we’ll keep rolling. They still have a long way to go to get on our level.

Someone correct me if I am wrong please.
Tre Williams and DeMonte Capehart are classified as Freshman due to regaining the covid year, and Payton Page is a true Freshman. So we have three 4* guys at the position that are really just getting started.
Probably played into this young man's decision.

Let me explain something to yall. I used to work around the unc campus. The ratio of girls to "men" is about 2.5 /1. If you take out the ones who arent looking at girls, the ratio climbs to about 8/1. And let me tell you, most of those girls are very easy on the eyes. While its still warm, they go lay out next to the food court........ mmmmmmmmmm.
For any out there who want to make a comment on my usage of verbage, yes, i am a sexist pig, and quite proud of it
