14 and 1, win the natty, lose to the coots.
OR,
14 and 1, lose in the natty, but beat the coots ('15 season).

Great season, and super proud of the team, but that loss was worse than the 5 in a row thing (which will soon be countered by 3 in a row by the Tigers).
Hopefully last season was just the start of a regular presence in the CFP.

would be swift. Getting to the Natty is not common (although I believe it is about to be more commonplace for Clemson). I would take the Natty win and curbstomp SCar the next season.

I don't think it's hypothetical at all!The problem is
unless you are an Alabama,Ohio State,or a school with a
trophy case full of national championship hardware,if you get there you got to win it.
This was not supposed to be Clemson's year,but if you get back in 2016-17,and don't finish the job,you might not get back for a long while.After all only 4 teams make the CFP's.
So while going 14-1 is nice,and beating the coots is all ways
a great way to end the regular season if you get back I'd take the loss to
the coots for that "Natty".
As far as this season goes,it's a moot point!

We will not lose to the coots next year or again for awhile, but think we will probably slip up and lose 1 game during the regular season next year.....but we will beat FSU, win ACC, & win the national championship in the end.....and finish 14 - 1.......Go Tigers!!!!!!!!
