Student Block Seating

Okay, my organization and I haven't heard anything from the Athletics Dept about Student Block Seating this year. It's too late in the day, otherwise I would call the ticket office; so, I'm reaching out to y'all. Do y'all know if they're still doing block seating or that has been done away with? It's odd that they haven't released any information (that I know of) concerning block seating when the first home game is less than 3 weeks away. TIA

Only difference is students will now use student ID to get in game. I believe IDs will be scanned at gate

Some things may have changed. Some of my season tickets this year are in section B which has always been only students. If section B now contains IPTAY donors there are less lower deck tix for students.

You know I wondered why D Rad backed off the students paying for tickets. He probably was like well fine, if students aren't going to cooperate with us then I'll just add more season tickets and take some of their seats and they won't have a clue. They were going to get their money one way or another. So now there will be less students in the lower deck. Thats a bunch of BS if true.

Well this is my last year as a student. I actually was for paying. But the student body was in an uproar about it. Majority rule I guess.

They did take my upper deck seats in UDC for students.

But you know now that I think about it I remember some students getting into arguments with season ticket holders about seats in section B last season. Our student ticket just says section B and that we are allowed to sit anywhere in section B. The ticket holders had tickets in section B with actual seat numbers. The students refused to move because it was already packed and they would have had to move to the hill. Major s-show.

Yes I saw those same problems with general admission print at home student tickets for overlapping sections with assigned season tickets. Some students had to overflow into section C also making it much too crowded. Even the steps had so many people sitting on them that it was very hard to go up or down. Hopefully that has been remedied in some way because that wasn't a good situation for students or season ticket holders.

seats in secion AA, A, and B. "But my organization shows up!" Cram it up your cram hole. Fraternities and sororities don't. They ruined it for everyone.
If there is block seating, it should be upper deck only.
