During the TV timeout mid 4th quarter, whenever it comes, have a "Loyalty Scholarship" drawing, for $5000 each home game. Key is, must be a current Clemson Student, proven by Student ID, and MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. This is the electronic age, drawing pot would be created via Student ticket numbers that were scanned at the gates. The Must be Present to Win, and showing valid Student ID with the ticket part will assure that they don't get given away.

Modern kids may not be motivated by school loyalty or anything else, but they are surely motivated by the prospect of free money.

The $35,000 total this would cost for the 7 home games is less than a drop in the bucket for Football Operations.

This will not happen. The whole problem was created by the administration so that they can move the students to the upper decks and rebuild the end zone to sell tickets to make more money.

But to suggest that it is anyone's fault that someone gets a free ticket and doesn't attend the game, or leaves early, other than that single individual who does so makes no sense to me.

Like I said the system is broken and needs to be fixed, but the actual issue of students not attending or not choosing to stay is on those students entirely.

So you propose we pay a student $5k to just be on the hill so it looks good on TV but at the same time we are against paying the students on the field? (you know, the ones playing the game and the reason we are all there). Que the responses of people who think the scholarship is fair compensation for these kids..
