Strawberry Hill

For those of you who choose to avoid the mess on I-85 and go down Hwy 11 on the way to Charlotte, there is a dive on the left side right before you get to Chesnee called Strawberry Hill. Do yourselves a favor and pop in for lunch. I never heard of this place before today but I love it now. I may have had a better fried bologna sandwich in my time, but if I had, I don't remember it. They also have burgers, fries, hot dogs, and fantastic atmosphere. Oh and all kinds of ice cream. Not fancy at all, but definitely cute. Only negitive is they close the grill at 2:30 pm. So hurry if your on your way today. Or stop by if your driving in tomorrow. Again, excellent little dive! I think the ice cream bar stays open til 8pm.
