They tell me that I put my number on there in 2003. Fat lot of good that has done. The only calls I ever get are spam.

calls that Google has identified as potential spam. I enabled it recently and it changed everything.
I don't know if this is native to Pixel 3 or firmware, or if it's a native part of the latest Android version. But it's quite nice.

Drop the cotdamp cell phone in a bucket of water. I just canceled the service but the bucket trick is good if you're a weak person.

Usually the same area code and prefix as your phone. Those are the ones that #### me off the most. Freaking cock-sucking sons-of-bitches.

I'll start at 803-422-0000 and work up.
We'll meet in the middle.
Then, after we get in touch with her, we'll meat in the middle.

Re: Strateragy for blocking robocalls?

A couple weeks ago i started answering and immediately muting my phone. Sarah with the cruise you won is waiting to hear someone speak (or other noise) to begin her automated spiel. The autodialer will assume this is a data line and will remove it from their call list.
They must share these "dead" lines with others in the industry periodically because after a week or so of doing this i have been getting significantly fewer calls over all.

Problem is mentioned above.

The hijacked numbers. A guy called me asking what I called about. Told him someone probably hijacked my number and called from it because I did not call. I have called them back before and the guy on the other end was as confused as I was at first.
Neat thing is, we actually got to talking a little bit and talked about what we did for a living. Found out he works in the industry that I do consulting for. Made a contact and now I have a potential client thanks to that robo call.
TLDR - A guy called back after my number was hijacked and we whispered sweet nothings in each other's ears.
