Story on Nuk Hopkins, his mom and family...

Jul 10, 2016, 9:40 AM

This is part of what is printed in today's Greenville News. Nuk and his family have done a great job learning how to get along and treat others and Sabrina, the mom, has an inspiring single parent story...

"CENTRAL – Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins recently was rated the 19th-best player in the NFL.
Truth be told, he may not be the best athlete in his family.
“I don’t know, but I think we’re gonna have a good discussion about that at the dinner table come Christmas,” Sabrina Greenlee says.
What’s not open for debate is that Sabrina – mother to Hopkins and his three siblings – is the unanimous MVP in a house full of all-stars.
Her honor is well-deserved, befitting a single mom who raised four respectful children blessed with an abundance of athletic talent, yet engrained with humble demeanor."

for us locals and former Lions.

I wish, though, that if Shanterria was good enough at basketball to earn a schollie somewhere, it had been at our other alma mater----Clemson's women's program currently needs all the help it can find....and more.

Why do this? Why make a great story a competition?

Nuk did not ask for that and it is not something that a Tiger would do.
