That's what that vax is for, don't take it and allow your team to suffer bc of it. That is the one thing that I wish that Clemson would have made mandatory!!!

So, what would you put personally as collateral for forcing people to make medical decisions with possible undue risk like that? How about one of your thumbs to be amputated if they experience complications as serious as unfortunately too many of our young men and women have? Don’t practice medicine without a license. Or fascism either.

My thought was that the players might have been exposed to a person (or people) who had tested positive.

Why should I get vaccinated if I might get COVID-19 anyway?
COVID-19 vaccination significantly lowers your risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death if you get infected. Compared to people who are up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations, unvaccinated people are more likely to get COVID-19, much more likely to be hospitalized with COVID-19, and much more likely to die from COVID-19.
Like all vaccines, COVID-19 vaccines are not 100% effective at preventing infection. Some people who are up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations will get COVID-19 breakthrough infection. However, staying up to date with your COVID-19 vaccinations means that you are less likely to have a breakthrough infection and, if you do get sick, you are less likely to get severely ill or die. Staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccination also means you are less likely to spread the disease to others and increases your protection against new variants of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

When it comes to Soccer men or women I have noticed that about the polls over the years in that even playing a really good team like Syracuse was at game time and losing to them you will take a nose dive in the rankings and I ain't talking about 5 or even 10 spots either. The folks that run those polls sure don't hold back when they rank you after a loss and obviously they did take much consideration in all the players that the Tigers had out prior to the game.

70 years old. Four Covid injections thus far. No reactions whatsoever.
What's the chance of a healthy 20 yo having a reaction? Zero.

Father n law has had Covid 3 times and has been vaxxed and boostered to the max.
Your body and my body are not the same. What you may or may not react to has nothing to do with what someone else should or should not do. Wish life was that simple.
Glad your vaccinations has worked out for you.
Bad thing people that are vaxxed still get it and none of us really know what these vaccinations may or may not look like for us in 10 years.

What about all of those mysterious deaths from people who took an Aspirin? You can't say that someone died because they were vaxxed. We do know that over a million Americans wished they could have been vaxxed.

What’s the chances of a healthy 20 yr old having a serious complication from a Covid infection? Pretty much the same What’s the probability of natural immunity lasting longer than vax immunity? About 4x So much for your anecdotal experience of N=1…

Syracuse is a good team... undefeated and ranked 3rd. We simply lost a very close match that could have gone either way. I don't understand why we dropped 9 places either, but the Tigers just need to beat #1 Wake and we'll be right back in the top 3. Go Tigers!!!

It's too bad regarding the ranking but we have a great team
You can still get it even though you have been vaccinated but your chances of dying are much less
This is a very dangerous disease and unfortunately I have had friends/family that have died or been hospitalized because of it. It is no hoax.

Considering it was our first loss and to a ranked Syracuse team who is now #3. So they valued Syracuse’s win as a win over #1 to jump them that high but punished us that much?
Even if it was our team at full strength it would be too large of a drop. And we bounced back with a 4-0 win over PC after. Yes it’s PC but they had been 5-0.
