The D could definitely be championship caliber. UGA won with that level of D plus a mediocre O.

Comparison between last year UGA O and our projected O:
QB - Klubnik could match Stetson Bennett
RB - Ours could be as good or better
OL - UGA is better, not close
TE - UGA big-time
WR - Sadly, UGA is much better. Our WRs are slow and sloppy

Bottom line: Looks like 2014 all over again

You mean Beaux Collins and EJ Williams? They have had good moments but I haven’t seen anything from either to think they are the game breaking WRs we’ve had in the past. I’d love to be wrong.

The comparison was to UGA last year. Their WRs weren’t WRU caliber either but at least they were fast. In the Natty, it was enough. If we have elite speed anywhere on our WR corps I haven’t seen it.
We also don’t have elite contested catch (Mike Williams and Nuk) or elite route running (Hunter Renfrow). Not even a Tee Higgins or Freshman Justyn Ross that I’ve seen. Again, I’d love to be wrong.

Sadly, probably our best WR just tore his acl. It's ashamed we didn't get a peak at what everyone reported all spring and how he was Beast mode.
