Ngata penalty- Dirty play- Pic of DJU

Notice the big gash on DJ's hand. A Syracuse player stomped on DJs hand, which was the reason for Ngata's unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. He was protecting his QB.

I agree with this more. I do not think Dino Babers runs a dirty program.
Football is an emotional sport. Sometimes players emotions get the better of them. I think I recall Dino going out of his way to discipline players and actually being looked at sideways in some previous seasons. So, definently don't think that's something that should define their whole program.
This player will likely be disciplined if the video shows it was intentional.

I respect your post and your opinion, but, Dino's teams have a history of this. I am not going to hold my breath waiting for Dino to discipline this jerk for what he did to DJ.

I’m sure someone is going to bring up Isaiah Battle

“THAT was a PRETTY good day! Why can’t I live that day over and over?” B Murray, Groundhog Day
“I’m not going to live by their rules anymore!” B Murray, Groundhog Day
But, yeah, players get emotional. Stomping on DJ’s hand was NOT emotion.
Battle’s uppercut was in response to an insult dealt to his mother from a Dave Doreen coached Pack player.
He no doubt deserved that uppercut, but Dabo had to deal out the punishment nonetheless.

How many years in a row do they have to do this kind of thing before you figure out it comes from the top? How many times has Clemson had a QB make it through the Syracuse game uninjured?

Stepped on and stomping on aren’t the same. Any proof of stomping?

With a gash like that you know it was intentional. No excuse for that kind of play.

I would think a 200 lb guy stepping on a hand can cause that

Go ahead and always defend the other team and coach.

I keep hearing that somebody stomped on his hand, the problem is there’s no video, at all, and nobody except TNet saying it. I would love to see some evidence or even a quote from DJU or Ngata, otherwise it’s just a rumor.
Now, assuming he cut his hand on the play where Ngata got the penalty: From experience, the way that run went, I would normally assume that the gash came from a defenders face mask bracket. I’ve seen that happen many, many times on a hard run like that.

It’s the 2nd play after the 26 minute mark. Can’t really see anything. Not to say it didn’t happen but the refs in the way and you can’t manipulate the video to slow it down or view it frame by frame.

You got it all figured out don’t you. I’m sure it was the face mask of a Cuse player?

I wonder if that’s why DJ’s passes were off. Say what you want about his vision, his passes are usually pretty

If we had proof of that, I would be the first in line. It looks like he got his hand stepped on. We have no idea if was intentional, I have not watched the replay, but it is pretty much a mosh pit in and around the line of scrimmage, no?

Watch film on #23 Justin Barron. After he makes a tackle, he walks over the opposing player. Seems like a thug move to me. I'd think Coach Bebers would have seen this on prior film and counseled the kid.

Could be coincidence but there is no question that DJ’s game went south after that with int and fumble scoop and score.
