I know many here are fans of guns.
I am more a fan of knives.
I have collected many.
My fav military knife is the Gerber Mk 11.
Some say it is not actually a military knife. It was not issued, so many of my VN friends bought their own from the PX.

I like and respect both! It doesn't matter what time it is, day or night, when I exit my front or back door, there will be a razor sharp Buck knife clipped to, or in my front pocket. A knife is one of the handiest tools made by man, and it seems that if you walk out of your house without one, that will be the time that you will desperately need your knife. Most everybody checks to make they have everything they will need before leaving the house, my first thing on my check list is my pocket knife, and my wallet is the second thing!!!!

If you play with a knife, it will cut you, head it almost my whole life. And this on also, if you play in fire, you will get burnt. Done both, and I never got burnt, nor cut playing around with either.
My most serious burns, and cuts was when I was being really careful that it didn't happen bc I saw the danger coming from what I was using them for, and it wasn't playing!!!!
