Stanford win helps clear things up.

Nov 11, 2017, 1:33 AM

With only 9 0 or 1-loss teams left, Stanford winning tonight would knock Washington out of it and drop that number to 8.

OK-TCU loser eliminated, taking us down to 7.

MIA-ND loser most likely eliminated, taking us down to 6.

With ND still having to play Navy and Stanford, GA and Bama having to play GA and most likely one another, and Oklahoma having to still play WVa, I'm thinking the top-4 won't be so controversial when all is said done and done.

Win and we are in. Simple. But it will be interesting today see whether we end up a 1, 2, 3 or 4 seed.

I've got my money on a two seed.

I think the final rankings will end up being:
1. Bama (beats GA)
2. Clemson (ACC Title jumps us over ND)
3. Oklahoma (Big 12 Title jumps over ND)
4. ND

GA loses to both Auburn and Bama.

No they didn’t. They also didn’t run the qb up the middle 3 straight times. Timeouts in college mean very little.

Although I do think a pooch punt would have been better than trying that fg. 47 not high percentage.

If uga and bama go undefeated

Nov 11, 2017, 2:18 AM

then they both get in regardless of who wins the SEC. Big12 and ND have an advantage since they don't have to win a conf championship game to get in.

Oklahoma would have to win a conference title game, most

Nov 11, 2017, 2:21 AM

likely against TCU for game two.

Yeah they play one this year and I really feel they split having to face each twice.

Have to agree with neal. Both undefeated in sec championship game, both get in.

Alburn gonna take one out and my bets on uga. Think tech may have a chance at uga too if they can stop uga running.

What is UGA loses to Auburn, but beats Bama in CCG?

Nov 11, 2017, 3:51 AM

Then you have 12-1 Bama, only dropping to #4, and both get in. CCG losers should not get in unless there are no other 1 loss CCG winners available.

And what if Wisconsin wins out ??

Nov 11, 2017, 2:59 AM

In that scenario they would be on the bubble at 5.... and a no-loss, conference champion .... Even with a weak schedule, I would say they replace the 4th seed ... The right to defend the title should be worth something for us , in addition to winning out of course ..

I gotta be honest

Nov 11, 2017, 5:48 AM

I think Oklahoma, ND, Georgia and Wisconsin all go down today. Most likely next weeks rankings will look something like this. If this does happen, I think at the very least one 2 loss team will make it to the playoff.

1. Bama.
2. Clemson
3. TCU
4. Miami
5. UGA
6. Auburn
7. Oklahoma
8. ND
9. USC
10. Michigan State
