Stadium Renovation Pics

Went by the stadium today and got some pics of the scoreboard and the west end zone new premium seating area to share. Scoreboard is moving along. They were busily welding the supports for the face. One of the guys from BLE came along and we started talking. He said the panels for the face are supposed to arrive the first week in July. He said each panel is only about 2’ by 3’ so there will be a bunch of them! He was really excited about the upgrades they are going to make to the Tiger Walk area of lot 5. Concrete and stone walkway and columns and arches. Gonna lose some parking spots in lot 5. I just hope they don’t put so many columns and arches that the fans can’t still be close to the players as the walk in.

like that part of it is taking a looooooong time to complete? Only two+ months till fall camp begins, they are going to be in a time crunch at the end unless bidness picks up!

If they start putting the actual screen on Mid-July they should be good. Can’t wait to see it. My old eyes need the help!

I noticed some of the names on the ring of honor were gone. That may be part of the electronic ribbon change. Not sure about west end video boards but looking at the pics again it looks like they are gone.
