IF LES MILES IS OUT, WHO'S IN?

If reports that the LSU head coach could be on his way out of Baton Rouge are true, who would the Tigers replace him with? Many point to Florida State head coach -- and former LSU assistant -- Jimbo Fisher.
This is a report from ESPN.
If this isn't replacing one overachieving coach who's players win despite him with another I don't know what is. The real question should be why are people even asking this question.

I guess I don't really see this as a job promotion. FSU to me is a pretty good place to be. I don't think that move makes a whole lot of sense. And, LSU is brave to get rid of a man who in my opinion is crazy but has quite a few Ws. Issue this year, is so many openings, unless you act quick, you may not get the better coaches. Will be an interesting domino effect once they start falling. A little worried this affects our assistant coaches, bigger worry is this often happens before bowl season and would kind of like them all around for the CFPs.

There is too much on the table and there is enough "family" ties to see out the season here. obviously, i could be wrong but that would shock me.
announcing before hand is a possibility and you could argue that their whole mindset may not be with clemson, but i can't see any leaving us dry.

I don't think the competition is an impediment for LSU like it is for, uh, other schools who may be hiring.
That said, I'd be surprised if Jimbo went to the bayou, but I'd also be surprised if LSU actually gets rid of Miles so what do I know?

If les is out after two losses then LSU has bigger problems (like re-evaluation of expectations)
Bottom line: NOT on the hotseat
