It seems like less info is coming out this season. I am sure to hold down transfers, all teams will avoid mentioning things like depth charts. It is important for a coach to talk up the bench players if he wants to keep them.
My take is last season would have gone north if Shipley had not stepped up. Stats may not say so, but he saved the season -- and his body paid the price.
What do yall thinks as to this season so far. Is it looking better or not as good as last year?
I was kinda thinking CFP after the Spring game last year.

Imo we're not hearing as much because so many injuries or players wearing green. Then you have Will Taylor who's not even back with baseball. Just pray this summer we get guys healthy for a great fall camp. We may not even get a post spring depth chart... Or I should say one that's leaked out.
Then you have that Paw poster saying Randall may be hurt. But I think @dhood would have given some info if it was anything other than a fools joke.

If Texas Freshman starts all season Tigers go undefeated for 3 seasons and 3 Nattys as long as no games in Sugar Bowl. Sugar Bowl officiating cost Tigers 3 games. 1 Natty and 2 semis

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!
I thought I was the only one who takes a little offense to the “going south” term. ?? % agree Tug. South is good. Going north is bad (and I’ve been there). You learn that after growing up in the Lowcountry.
I think we can make the playoffs if the passing game improves and the running backs stay healthy. I believe the defense is going to be fun to watch!

Due to the "D", I believe the team will be in all games. If the "O" is a little better, then any game could be a win.

and injuries always playing a role. Looking at the talent on this roster, I think we should field another top 10 defense if our guys stay healthy, and I am not sure how we could get any worse on offense. We also have a soft schedule in September to get Klubnick and others some reps if needed, that can not hurt either. it did not seem like we had that opportunity last year, and it hurt us.
Ncstate will be our first test on October 1, hopefully, we have things sorted out by then, this will be a better wolf pack team than the one that beat us in Raleigh last year.

the fans and whether Dabo takes our suggestions on personnel because we all know Dabo has loyalty first to his friends kids and his own kids stats that he would jeopardize the future of the program and the game they are playing so that when the opposing coach realizes he’s not going to play the players he was gonna play prior to DJ’s woes started in 2021, yes, I agree this is going to be a heck of a year to figure out what this team cam really do if properly motivated.

Our RB room is stacked with Shipley, Pace, and Mafah. Keith Adams Jr. is a 3 star so he should be a solid 4th stringer. We definitley need to get an OL in the portal, though.

We have three great RBs right now and one guy destined for back-up duty as a freshman coming in the fall.
Getting a serviceable OL for depth purposes makes sense if one is out there. We’re actually short on numbers if not talent.
Bringing in an extra warm body at RB who cannot help us win games in 2022 does not make sense.

too many players with nagging injuries, etc. And the offense last year caught me totally off guard, not sure I've gotten over that yet. Agree that the D has the potential to keep us in every game... but the offense has to step up. That will determine the wins the losses.
