Portugal is a weird track though and really jived with how the Merc likes to warm up its tires. Still expect some back and forth this season but you are right—-big gap RB has been neutralized.

Not sure about the next race either. Spain is always a snoozer of a processional race. Seems like Portugal really messed up the DRS zones. The second one was meaningless and they shouldn’t have shortened the main one. It went from the race with the most passes last season to another snoozer this one.

I kinda like the roller coaster effect and the long DRS zone.

But overall, agreed. No character like Imola.

Never liked the Catalunya track either. But we soon get Monaco and Baku. If nothing else, the scenery is good.
