I've only had one lousy ######## who gave me no notice and wasn't willing to work his two weeks.
I just can't believe these peckerheads aren't more pissed at him for just walking like that. I don't care if you volunteer coach a youth team or teach sunday school, you don't quit with no notice for no reason unless you really don't give a #### about your employer or the people you are supposed to lead.

media has given him a pass because he had a few 11 win seasons at USCe and did some things at Florida a long time ago.
I don't understand it at all.

for sports media over the years because he was so entertaining. And undoubtedly he has been a great coach at times.
And I get that many of them had these 'steve spurrier remembrance' articles already written, like they do with obits for old people.
But still, you are right I haven't seen anybody in the national media point out what a ###### selfserving ######## move it is to quit on monday night. AND ITS HOMECOMING WEEK AND THEY HAVE A BYE NEXT WEEK. At the minimum, work through this weekend's game if you are not willing to stick through the season.
But if he had announced he was retiring at year's end, USC could have still started the hiring process AND they would have had the HBC Farewell tour the rest of the season and talked about how great he was.
The only way he could have done this worse is if he just didn't show up on Tuesday.
