We really should have looked at some experienced OL players in the transfer portal. Only one game but IMO this group is rather young and I don’t think they’re going to be able to be coached up enough by the end of the regular season.

I think we have talent on the O-line, a lot of the guys were 4 star recruits

it's just not in Dabo's DNA to bring in someone to take the place of players he's recruited. Even though I think he could have found a couple of guys with 2 - 3 years experience that are better than our current starters. I am more hopeful than you on the younger guys. I expect many of them to get lots of experience over the next few weeks and start to take over later in the season. I thought Tchio was an improvement when he came in the game.

Maybe he needs to look at recruiting a new strength and conditioning coach because against the bigger defensive teams we have faced lately, we sure have been pushed around by some big boys.

It's not the players, it's the coaching and has been for years. Technique is terrible in run game.
