After all, Huggins has only taken his teams to 25 of the last 28 tournaments.

If Huggins is the only option, I hope we stick with CBB forever. My dislike for Huggins has nothing to do with his use of a slang term and everything to do with his being a "low rent" guy.

I would disagree assuming we decide to change coaches. Point to baseball, we went with a young coach (Lee) who had no record of success at the P5 level and he flamed out. We then found the money to go big with a coach who has proven he belongs at the highest level of collage baseball. While early, he is tracking in the right direction. We have always gone small with basketball and always flamed out or the coach used us as a stepping stone taking the first train out.

Regardless of his doing "things the right way" and being a "class act", the bottom line comes down to NCAA tournament appearances and wins and losses. You are what your record says you are. Tommy Bowden also did things the right way and was a class act. He got put out to pasture and deservedly so.

I would say Brownell has a very distinct advantage. He's been given 13 years (soon to be 14) to prove himself while Bowden had 8 1/2. And, yet, here we are.
