This guy obviously was distracted and not focused at Clemson. Clemson turned him into a great DB and he chose “extracurricular” activities over being a Tiger.

mmm, a kid who just got kicked off his dream team is found asleep in a parking lot with a gun on his lap and weed (not drugs, weed) in his ashtray.
Sounds like someone in a mental health crisis more than a criminal to me.

He was kicked off of the Clemson football team because he ghosted Dabo while his kid was in the hospital.
Dabo tried to reach out to him multiple times and received no contact in return for quite a bit of time.
Kendrick stated this in an interview after he chose UGA. He said he messed up by not communicating but that he wasn't in a good place while his child was not doing well.
What you are referencing happened after he was no longer on the team.
Maybe we should consider him lucky that he fell asleep because what you are using to consider him a criminal could have been a very dark time for him that he was able to escape from.
I'm glad he got himself turned around and I hope he goes on to have success in whatever career(s) he has so his child can grow up in a better situation than he did.
