Just because their fans are uber delusional and fancy themselves some sort of elite, relevant program doesnt make it so. Would Vandy be a dumpster fire for being 2-1? Would Wake Forest? Would Kentucky? Syracuse? Would any of those teams be dumpster fires for going 6-6? Thats who SC is! They are a third tier, 6-6 program. 120 years of pathetic football has shown us this. 1 Conference title, no BCS wins, no national titles, no play off appearances, no relevant trophies of any sort. They are who they are, not who they wish they were.

I think the events of last weekend show that they were in the middle of a dumpster fire.
I mean, malfunctions of pyrotechnics, concessions, restrooms, and the football team are hard to ignore.

5-7 Vandy isn't a dumpster fire. A 6-6 TAMU or LSU is. The difference is the desire to win and be good. Apathy is the name of the game at most perinially 6-6 or worse schools. Not South Carolina so they've earned their dumpster fire description.

So let me get this straight: Backed-up toilets, shootings, fights in the parking lot, concession stand screwups, doo doo ice, poor sportsmanship, #### flopping, and a gameday entrance that was a massive fail isn't a dumpster fire? All this followed up by a public "apology" by their AD?

don't forget:
- resorting to accusations of racial slurs when you lose games.
- telling the media that a team that beat you 56-7 wasn't much better if better at all than you.
- 3 year probation for $59,000 of impermissible benefits and recruiting violations that occurred during the biggest 5 years of your program.
- a coach that had a large banner placed on the front of the stadium walks out on you mid-season to leave your team high and dry, and is now seemingly talking-up your rival over and over again.

Well they won 11 games every year from 11-13 so I do believe that raised their expectations. Now they have become the dumpster fire that they were use to.

$CU has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, to offer that a player can't get at a number of other better schools across the southeast which is why the only players they are able to attract are the ones who either grew-up Capon fans or who, for what ever reason, can't get in other schools.
