extremely well put. I agree 1000%. I want to allow for some grace for the fact that as a HC, he's always in a tough spot b/c he will always be criticized for every little thing, even when the criticism is unfair and uninformed. But there is a balance to be struck, and I think at times lately he (and Streeter) have crossed the line from thick-skinnned to insular.

I miss humble, fervent, rational fans. The angry, entitled, world is ending approach doesn't wear well.
'Member when a bunch of folks were mad when we didn't beat SCar by enough in '18? Good times. Good times.
Seriously, though, Clemson Nation is the absolute best and I'm looking forward to Saturday and beating North Carolina. Mind game if you want, but Dabo's not going anywhere, and he will do what he thinks is best to meet all of his team goals as the opportunities present themselves. Hoping we get more wins ahead.

Shaking off suggestions that LSU received preferential treatment because of the proximity of its Baton Rouge campus to the game in New Orleans, Swinney said his team could also have used the Saints' practice facility, but chose not to.
"It's just crazy how people put these narratives out there right away. We had the same exact opportunity to go there, but we were going to have to change our schedule and just didn't want to do that," he said.

It also shows how stubborn Dabo can be. He didn’t want to let our team have appropriate practice conditions because we would have to change our schedule?!? What was more important that trip than preparing for the national championship?!?

He is great for always speaking his mind but its also been his Achilles heel especially when some of the things he says are no longer being backed up by results on the field. Take a page outta Saban’s book and just say nothing sometimes
