and 20-25(?) on defense. Not saying anything was fishy, but it does seem awfully odd.

I remember one play where they had a guy take a dive then we actually called a timeout. Dude just casually got up and jogged off.

I believe if the NCAA will make change regarding the injury rule this may stop many of these suspicious injuries. If you are injured on a play you have to be evaluated in the tent and sit out minimum of 5 plays. Jimbo Fisher pulled this crap last year. JF is not the only HC to pull the injury stunt to slow down a fast paced offense. It was a favorite tactic he used at FSU to. I think it’s a crappy way to try and stop fast paced offenses like Clemson’s.

Plus you have to watch another bunch of commercials!

Flipped over to the UT-LSU game afterwards and LSU could give TAMU a run for their money with these tactics. I think A&M won, but it was close. Because....ummm.....you know.....SEC gauntlet.

Had it not been Clemson playing I would have turned to another game and not come back to it. There was no flow. Way too many stoppages. When one team treats the last 4 minutes of a 21 point deficit like they win the Natty if they drive down and score with 6 seconds left, you know the point has been belabored. Sean McDonough was incredulous that Jimbo was keeping him on the call that long just to cover the spread. Reminded me of those weekly 4 hour games the SEC tortures you with on CBS. They think people have nothing better to do.

The rule should be that the injured player has to sit out until a change of possession. They should not come out and be able to go back in after sitting out just one or two plays.
