Someone please help...

The closer this game gets, the more nervous I get. I know there are 11 games after the uGAY game, but this game sets the tone for our season. I want to see the Tigers win a NC so bad, and I've never seen us be so close.
After watching the bowl game from last season, I realize that we were fortunate to have the opportunity to get that 4th and 16, and to hit that field goal. We had an opportunity and took full advatage of it. But if LSU wouldn't have passed 3 times in a row, the outcome could've been much different.
I am cautious to have too much optimism about our team because of this. We did put up a great fight against LSU, and I just can't help but think we'll be pretty D*MN good this year. I have no doubts that Dabo has our program in the best shape it's been since I can remember, and we are certainly heading in the right direction. We will be an elite program for years to come, but I'm just so tired of waiting, and I want to personally witness the glory of being the CHAMPS, NOW!!!
Please someone tell me why we will win every game this year!!! Put my mind at ease.

This will not answer your question but it is something to think about as game time nears. Last year, as I sat in the Atlanta Dome waiting for a much anticipated game between my Tigers and the SEC powerhouse LSU, I wondered if my guys were mentally ready to meet this challenge. I had been here before. The Alabama game came to mind quickly. I had my hopes but I also had my doubts. The LSU fans were out in full force. It didn't look promising for the 'good guys'. The game began and almost immediately, the one guy who I thought could win this game for my team, was being carried off the field. I looked at the Clemson sidelines and saw my players seeing the same sight I was seeing and I knew they had the same feelings as I did.In just a few seconds, the Tigers trailed by a touchdown and I felt very badly for myself, my team and my University. But there was a guy named Boyd and another named Hopkins and quite a few other players who weren't going to let me make the trip back to the N.C. mountains feeling sorry for myself. Those same guys, and some new ones, know what it takes to be champions. I feel good about the Georgia game and all the others because Clemson is made up of winners. Be at this game and do your part. We have great guys representing Clemson U. I am glad to be a small part of it. GO TIGERS AND JOIN IPTAY

yep the way that started was not good. amazing turnaround and amazing D. Other than our turnovers yielding points or short fields LSU did very little. late they played not to lose it seemed which played right into our hands

Clemson had the ball nearly a full qter (13 min)longer than LSU which certainly played a major part in your victory. With Ga's balanced attack I'm not so sure Cu can replicate that.

And LSU didn't have a balanced attack? I saw players dropping like flies in that game. Hope your puppies are ready to man up!

Do you really think LSU's passing game equaled that of Georgia's? Our qb had thrown for nearly 10,000 yards/100tds in 3 seasons......seriously.

When your fabulous qb throws it up that much .. three things can happen and two of them are really bad!!!! I'm betting there will be at least three picks in this game for the mighty TIGERS. I do hope Murray is able to finish the game and plays well the next week.

Mettenburger threw for 300 yards against their vaunted defense. Explain.
