Dabo needs to run some stadium stairs or do a few up-downs for that FG attempt.

I was angry and shocked.that he called for a field goal. But I live him even more because directly after he owned it. He is simply the best coach ever

I’m okay with the attempt. If it would have been just simply blocked but not returned for a TD, ppl wouldn’t have been that upset. I’m okay with making the ABC weather crew running the stands due to their 1st qtr time of possession!

Canes couldn't get first down. Win was never in doubt......

FG call was not an issue. Absolute worse thing could happen did and still no one had doubt who would win the game.

The failure exposed couple issues that will be fixed if ever needed in the future.


Take a deep breath. Chill.

ETA: If that is worse thing to happen this season I think we will be OK.

Agree with the stadium steps. Enough to make the leg muscles burn a little.

And then sit in a closed room with Danny Ford and Brent Venables asking him repeatedly to explain what is the worst thing that can happen if you try to kick a field goal there.

Then have him watch the last 57 seconds of the first half of the Miami Clemson game when the Canes kicked off to CJ who ran it back for a TD. Of note, Randy Shannon to this day insists that he told his kicker to squib it, specifically not to kick it to CJ. I do love that Dabo owned his mistake right away.

field goals. Maybe he should ask Frank Howard about the 3 things that can happen when you throw the ball, as all but one are bad
