I bet he was wiffing on tackles in practice.

He had some talent but tackling wasn't one of them.

How to say you're a clown...

Aug 30, 2022, 1:05 PM

...without actually saying you're a clowm.

There's no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people who ask questions.

I don’t mind saying he’s a clown.

You can disagree but go look at the Syracuse game

Aug 31, 2022, 7:30 AM

Thier backs made him look silly.

I know he was the great white hope around here but not NFL caliber apparently.

So he was a great tackler and I am wrong?

how to say you don't have a retort without saying it.

We all loved him but you are correct, he couldn't tackle in the open field. Great instincts and straight ahead speed but had trouble changing directions.
Hopefully he will get a chance to get better on a practice squad.

Yeah Turner always struggled with open field tackling…

Hope he can find a practice squad position or maybe get another shot at it elsewhere.

Some people on TNET trigger easy when you mention

Aug 31, 2022, 7:32 AM

The truth about certain players yet "Big Stinko" is tolerated by some of the same people.

I wonder why?

I think he may get picked up on waivers. Practice squad wouldn't be bad to continue to grind and learn. He's been there before.

I hope he does but I remember him missing a lot of tackles

Aug 31, 2022, 7:38 AM

just can't think that would play well in the NFL.

His outstanding speed was a surprise to me

Aug 30, 2022, 5:48 PM

This speed and his football intellect give him a real shot on the practice squad or another team. (On e year off a Super Bowl win, with Tom Brady leadership, Tampa Bay is not an easy team to make.)

Turner is still on his football journey. With a major in Finance and a Masters in Athletic Leadership, we'll be seeing a bright future for Mr. Turner!

Tampa will have him on practice squad. Nfl is a numbers game.

I bet he would be a great coach. And we know how much Dabo loves hiring former players. Would love to see Nolan and Skalski join on as grad-assistants. But, coaching isn't for everyone.
