believe an exception should be made for Jim Phillips. He was the true "Voice of the Tigers" for 25 years - one of the last college announcers to broadcast all of a school's sports. Not at all likely that we'll ever have another single "Voice of the Tigers" again. Sure would like to see his name and microphone on the ROH inside Death Valley!

As a kid I thought he would be at Clemson forever, I couldn’t imagine Clemson without him.
He has surely been missed, it’s not even fair for those who have tried to come behind him.
