If she had been elected in 2016, we probably would have never heard of it...at least no more than H1N12009 (swine flu...the last WHO global pandemic). To refresh, 60.8 million illnesses, 273,304 hospitalizations, 12,469 deaths IN THE US (per CDC between April 10, 2009 and April 12, 2010 [first year]). This one would have been ridden out too! With probably over 1,000,000 US deaths. But there would have been no hype in the media! I guess we'll never know.

Why do people keep saying that the media ignored the swine flu? I was married in late April of that year, and we went on a cruise for our honeymoon. The cabin we were staying in had 3 channels in total, 2 movie channels that played 1 movie on each channel over and over, and CNN. The Swine Flu was literally the only thing CNN was talking about at that time.
You also just went on to say that COVID19 would kill over a million Americans had it been ignored, and you're trying to compare that to 12,469 deaths? The Swine Flu killed about 1,000 people per month on average over the course of a year. We had nearly that many people die yesterday alone even with all the restrictions. Of course those two things are the same though!
I don't like Hillary for the record. I just get tired of everyone making everything in life political lately, and I'm talking about people on both sides.

First off, we're likely going to have more Americans die from COVID19 in the next week than H1N1 had in an entire year.
Second, there was already a vaccine readily available for H1N1 before the pandemic started, hence the lack of total panic and market collapse.
Third, 30% of Americans already had some type of immunity (either full or partial) to H1N1.
You're comparing apples to oranges man.
H1N1 was a big deal, but was overshadowed by the crater of the housing market which finished just 6 months before H1N1 was a thing.
