Soccer team and fans totally flat first half....

The only thing 80% of the fans ever cheer for is a goal these days. People having personal conversations and not even watching most of the game. The student soccer club is unbelievable and deserves props but the rest of the crowd is on their hands/phones. Seems like the players are going to have to get them into the game but those guys could use some enthusiasm. Student club started "Let's Go Tigers" chant and I was the only one out of 100's of people around me that joined in. LOL I imagine Noonan will get the team's effort going at halftime. Let's gooooooo people.

That was as flat a performance as I have seen from our guys in probably 50-60 games I've attended going back to the mid 80's. The age old scenario of playing flat after a bye really got us it seems. This UCLA team was not that great .

Only thing I can think of is that we played so well for the final 5-6 games of the season that we basically had nothing left. That was certainly not the team that upset #3 Duke and held Wake to zero shots for an entire game. Hate to lose some of these seniors but excited for the new wave of talent we have coming in.

I learned on TNet that it’s the players’ job to get the fans into the game.

Football is the exception of course.
