Bill Self and Kansas now? Tons of major infractions outstanding and still allowed to play for, and win the championship…
I guess cheaters do win. College basketball is a cesspool.
One of my main reasons for supporting Brownell is that he runs a clean program, but I guess that really doesn’t matter when nobody is ever held accountable.

What do you mean, "what does it matter"?

To cheat or not to cheat, that is the question.
If the NCAA is going to be thing anymore, then they need to actually do something useful. Cleaning up rampant cheating in basketball and the NIL mess should be first and foremost.
Of course it matters.

I guess since Kansas did not get Zion, all of the offers for cash do not constitute a violation. It would be akin to trying to rob a bank, and if you were caught but did not actually get any money, they would let you go. And of course, we know that Zion was the only player to have been offered money by Kansas.

Kansas laughed at the NCAA and then spit in their face when they went ahead and gave Self a lifetime contract that includes a clause that he cannot be fired for NCAA sanctions.
