We have had quite a few really talented players leave to early, when staying their senior year could have gave them more experience that could have helped them stick to a team a little longer to show they have the FB smarts with talent, and that goes a long way with guys that played as much college ball as they could, before they jumped to the NFL....

What an inspirational story ... although these days (especially if DeShawn could have gotten a gig as an Amazon driver) the money at Amazon isn't too bad.

CDL drivers at Amazon's logistics partner pay ~ $80K / year plus full benefits package, and are home every evening.

But even in Denver, a NFL job pays more than Amazon.
