Different spots to fill. Don't you think if the kid as really all that great someone else from the SEC would have kept him in town. Stanford ain't exactly WRU.

Sure hate that Mac Alexander got away.... SMH

Next year we'll probably take a CB and S. There's plenty of talent in the 2016 class not to mention that most of us are MORE than satisfied with the talent we have on campus. Here are a few 2016 names to keep in mind:

ATH/ DB- Saivion Smith 6-2 175 IMG Academy, St. Petersburg, FL 4* ESPN. Rivals 4* No. 2 ATH, #24 overall. 5* by Rivals.com, #2 CB, and # 16 overall. In 2014, had 67 tackles, 6 INTs, and three blocked punts. Offered on 5-7-14. Unofficial visit to the scar beatdown. Also attended the 2014 CDS Camp. Considered to be a top prospect in this class. Check this out folks: "Smith has outstanding size at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds. He excels in coverage, against the run and on special teams both as a return man and on blocking kicks. In this game against Trinity he fought off a block to make a tackle on running back Jeff Holland. While tackling Holland he stripped him and picked up with football. Smith raced down the sideline for a score. At the time it was his six non-offensive touchdown this season [if you include the Kickoff Classic]." The aforementioned play can be seen at the :30 mark of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMVnucSE40w

DB/WR- Malek Young 5-10 175 Coconut Creek, FL ESPN has him as the #20 CB, #297 overall, and a 79 grade. 24/7 rates him as the #41 CB and 434 overall. Runs a 4.42 40, 36" vertical, 265 bench, 405 squat, and a 10.53 100M dash. Is a utility player who see's time on offense, kick and punt return teams. Nominated for Under Armor AA Game but will play in the US Army game instead. Grew up a FSU fan and is widely considered to be a FSU lean. Offered by BV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hedp083Z7XU

DB/ATH Robbie Robinson 5-10 170 Hampton, VA Phoebus HS (same HS as Boyd) 4* #18 CB, #214 overall by Rivals. 4.45 40. Had a great junior year and was named All Conference, First Team All State DB and First Team All State as a punt returner. In 2013, 80 tkls, 4 sks, 4 INTs (1 for TD), 5 punt returns for TD, 2 KO for TDs. First Team All State. First-Team All-Conference Defensive Back & Punt Return, First-Team All-Region Defensive Back & Punt Return and First-Team All-State ATH. 4.2 GPA. Smart kid. Visited CU for the scar game. Also made it to CDS Camp in 2014. DB Chad Clay 6-0 177 Suwanee, GA Peachtree Ridge HS Scout.com 4* #17 CB, 194 overall. ESPN 4* #11 CB and 94 overall. 24/7 4* #21 CB, 208 overall. Nike SPARQ certified 4.53 40. He played a physical brand of football as a cornerback, at one point jamming a four-star receiver so badly he drove him back several yards into the backfield. Clay had several pass breakups and didn’t give up much all afternoon. As of July 2014, had a top 8 of UGA, Aub, LSU, Bama, A&M, CU, Neb, and OhSt. Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2571119/chad-clay Awkwardly painful interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjtY7mO9ZBk

Has offers from UVA, VTech, CU, AZSt, Duke, FSU, UK, Miss, UGA, USC, and others. An interview: http://recruiting.scout.com/story/1420176-the-opening-levonta-taylor
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3348454/levonta-taylor

A scout's take on Taylor:" I saw Taylor in person at The Opening and 5’10” may be a little generous with his height, but he plays bigger than his size. He’s a fluid athlete that transitions extremely well and has explosive speed. He can run with just about anyone. Taylor is so natural in his backpedal and and his acceleration when he plants and breaks on the football is outstanding. His footwork is so good and he has very little wasted motion. His closing speed is elite and he can run with just about any receiver. Size is the biggest issue with him in terms of jump ball situations, but he can get up there and compete for the football. He has outstanding ball skills and has the ability to be a dangerous player after an interception. He is a physical tackler that will come up and deliver a blow. He’s a willing tackler in run support." Read more: http://sonofacoach.com/levonta-taylor/

An older interview:
Coach Warren: Facilities, Uniforms, Tradition, Coaching Staff, Education? Which factor or combination of factors will be most important in your school choice?
RF: Education, Tradition and Coaching Staff. Education is most important . It’s something you can have for a lifetime. When your football career is done you always have your Education to fall back on.

Coach Warren: Is playing closer to home a big deal?
RF: My ultimate goal is going Division 1. I would love to play closer to home so my Family and Peers could come watch me.

Coach Warren: Is early playing time important?
RF: I would love to come in once I get there and make an immediate impact on the program . But in order to do all that I would have to Work Hard, but I would like to learn the position and master it at first so playing time is a big factor."

DB Trayvon Mullen 6-2 175 Pompano Beach, FL Coconut Creek HS 4* #9 CB, 128 by Yahoo. Called Clemson a "Dream offer." 4.37 40. Offered on 5-13-14. #1 CB, 7 overall by ESPN.“I was really blown away by Trevon’s length and how smooth he is at such a young age,” said Bill Greene, who covers the state of Ohio and the Midwest for Scout.com. “I know that Notre Dame just offered him, but that will be the first of many. I think he has a chance to be very special.” From bigcountypreps.com "Look at this combo of size, speed and athleticism. 6’1?-6’2? cover corner with legit 4.4 speed. Can play press man coverage, turn and run like a Sunday talent (NFL). But you can’t find big cover guys with speed and ability to play up in the WR’s face and also turn and run. RARE!" CU, Bama, FSU, Miami, LSU, and Fla are in the mix. He is an exceptional athlete who is still growing. Some have him as a Miami lean. LSU is after him hard. Named First Team All State.
