What is your predicted ACC Conference record?
I think we will win some games we don't expect, but lose a few we should win especially on the road.
I'm going to say 8-12.

Brownell’s best offensive team, which is admittedly not great on defense but certainly not bad, is going to go 8-12 in conference play?
You do realize that 8-12 would be the third worst conference winning percentage in Brownell’s 20 years as a head coach, right?

Just looking at our schedule I'll reverse your record. 12-8. If we can't finish with a plus record in the ACC this year, I'm not sure when we can. It's as down as I've ever seen it in my lifetime.
A little dissapointing we didn't get a full healthy scar team. But then it's probably good we didn't as bad as we played last night. Imho, our worst game of the year with the exception of the PC game. But that was an early season game so you expect it.
That said, every team will have an off night. We must step up on D to overcome some of the off nights shooting. Honor is streaky. Brad has to recognize if he's on or off. Play Hemingway more... Especially if honor is off. I digress.
I'm still enthusiastic this team can have a really good year. We've shown good signs, getting big leads against good comp. Just need to learn how to finish. A little unfortunate the flu bug hit us. Think if we'd had a healthy Hemingway in those games... Who knows. Just my .02

This is about where my expectations are at this point. We're already 0-1 so playing a game over .500 the rest of the way seems about right. 10-10 would better our pre-season media pick, which is typical for the Brownell era, yet leave us out of the NCAA tourney though within the NIT selection zone.
Hope I'm a few games off.

Better factor in some Covid cancellations. Omicron will be causing positives among vaccinated players. January and February could be a mess for the schedule.
