talking about on here about the two families killed in the Alaska plane crash, but it must have been pretty bad judging by peoples comments. It must have been deleted already and it's probably best that I did not see it. My family has been friends with the Antonakos family for 10 years now. My son and their son, Mills, became friends in K5 at Sara Collins and were getting ready to start their freshman year at Mann. Not only were these people a great Clemson family, they were great people...PERIOD. Over the past 3 days I have seen way, way more sadness and sorrow, especially among the kids, than anyone should witness because of the loss of this beloved family. This will be the third night in a row my family and I will attend a memorial service and again deal with the sorrow of losing the Antonakos family. FootballFan36...that you would say ANYTHING off color about this situation is sickening..I live in Greenville...would love to meet you

I must be getting very emotional in my later years b/c, every time I've watched and listen to this story on TV. My eyes have flooded with tears rolling down my cheeks over the sadness I feel for the relatives left behind. This isn't just A family member passing away or even killed as sad as that would be. But it's an entire family gone at once. I wouldn't begin to know how I would or could deal with such a horrific tragedy of this magnitude. I'll do the only thing that I know to do for these families, and that is to pray to God that he lets these very sad heart broken families know that their loved ones have entered heaven and are just fine. God bless everyone who knew and loved them.

devoid of class and tactfulness where it is required and expected. This person is probably a kid , has never had anything like this happen in their life and lacks the background to be able to respond to anything without sarcasm or ill-humor. Im sorry that this happened and my condolences to anyone with ties to the families that were involved.

IMO, he was probably into the bottle too much. The post was listed as being posted at around 3 am. Forgive him.
I hate it for the family and all the others on the plane. Sounds as if they're in a better place.

I too did not see the comments made, and I did not personally know the family. I am heartbroken nonetheless. I am heartbroken for their relatives. I am heartbroken for their friends. I pray that they are all in a better place together in God's loving arms. Such a horrible tragedy!

My wife and I buried our first baby three years ago and each time we hear of our youth dying, it breaks our heart. I held my wife one morning while she cried over the Zarah Baker story when it first aired on TV. She kept saying, "why can't we have a child when all of these other people don't want theirs". I didn't read FootballFan36s post either and I don't think I want to. Don't know whether he/she was trying to be cute or not, but being inhumane is one thing. Never wish or be happy about tragedy happening to someone. It'll bite you back one day.

Sad day for the Tiger Nation

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the friends and family of those lost in the accident in Alaska. Sometimes the lord works in mysterious ways. A little more than a year ago my Uncle Glen Brackin was left us in a tragic cycling accident. Glen was a huge booster and many of you probably knew him. He was perhaps the biggest Tiger fan I have ever met and the reason most of the family went there. I appreciated everything the university did for our family including the memorial at the half of the NCSt game and the Furman game at Fluor Field.

Someone posted about the tragedy and FF36 said it did not belong in the football board because the board was a way for him to escape the "bad news" that consumes all media outlets. Sure, it was a distasteful comment, but the backlash has blown out of proportion (IMO). I am sure he didn't mean for it to be disrespectuful and would take it back if he could.
