So sick of the Greenville was a "downer" argument...

Last year for hoops in Greenville was a positive, not a negative.
You have the largest living alumi fan base in Greenville County.
Attendance was better than at Littlejohn the previous year.
Yes, the team had to bus over.
The "Well" created a great atmosphere, a special Clemson Entrance and more.
So enough with the excuses, Brownell has done a poor job for SEVEN years.
Yes, it's SEVEN.
D-Rad, get your act together, focus on Men's Hoops, not softball.

a year. A big non-conf game. Also think it would be more attractive for a big program to play us on a "neutral" court.

I actually think playing in Greenville gave us a competitive advantage

I went to a few games at the well last year. Because of the depth perception of the basket, it threw teams off. Because we practiced on it, it gave us a slight edge.

I loved the season at greenville. The stadium wasn't as nice as littlejohn, but it was still pretty full for most games. I thought we played pretty well there. The clemson entrance was really cool. Definitely not an excuse.

There weren't even 5,000 people there for every non-conference game besides SC (majority were SC fans).
Did y'all even go to games there?

I'm not defending Brownell either. Because in all honesty, his time has probably come.
But it's not that hard to formulate a factual argument against Brownell without pulling stuff out of left field.

The atmosphere was dead compared to Littlejohn.

I thought it sucked. I don't think it was an excuse for Brownell, but did yall actually go to the games? While as a Greenville resident it was great to just have to go around the corner to go to a game, it was an awful experience compared to Clemson! The only thing I could see is maybe a noncon game there in December when the students aren't at Clemson. That's probably the only time Greenville has an edge.
