Never say never or always but rarely is walking called on a drive to the basket, I guess because if the pros can get by so do the kids. The realty is, walking could be called dozens of times a game just like holding or pass interference in football.

I watched the ladies final last night and the refs were on top of things. Called 3 secs in lane, traveling when a person hit the floor to go after the ball and rolled around on floor. Called walking when talking 3 steps going to basket, 10 sec getting ball up court, palming the ball. It was refreshing to see rules unforced.

Spud, I remember back when they gave Ronnie Van Zant 3 steps towards the door. It was more than the two they gave me back in pee wee basketball. That said, we never see-a him no more. But four steps? I'm with you, getting a little excessive!
