Utah loses, yet doesn't move down AT ALL in the playoff poll?

And their other loss earlier in the year was at home to a 2-7 Washington State team

OT losses don't count. If we had lost to FSU in regulation we wouldn't be ranked in the top 50.

Actually I think it is UGA's loss that hurts us. They are one spot ahead of us and probably pushed us down the board.

What I don't get is that UGA is ranked ahead of us and their 2 losses came to unranked Florida and SC. Our 2 losses came to the #1 ranked team FSU on the road, and UGA who was ranked in the top 10 on the road as well.

The question is does the committee look at our Loss to UGA as a worse loss now after they got blown out by Florida thereby hurting our ranking. If so how is MSST holding tight to #1 now that ATM has proven to be a fraud and LSU is a pretender likely to pick up a 3rd loss this Saturday. I've heard about the 3 consecutive top 10 teams murderer's row they have had to play non-stop but now 1 of those should be a gimmie and LSU should just be a speed bump to a team that is worthy of a #1 ranking.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the committee's poll being accurate when it's all said and done. I was disappointed that they slammed all those SEC teams in the top ten but I guess they knew that the cream would rise to the top in short order.

I just hope the media uses the PO's final poll to start next season instead of pushing the SEC, USC, ND and OSU in the top ten without consideration for how they ended this season.
