SO, learned UNC’s 44 Natties are mostly in Coot-Type Natties..

O in Baseball (i believe, but give Coots credit for 2 Natties here)

Here it comes~~>

22 in Wimmens Soccer (that is impressive)
6 in Field Hockey ( what is that?)
1 in Wimmens Lacross
5 in Men’s Lacross
2 in Men’s Soccer (ties Clemson)

AND of course:
6 Natties in Men’s Basket Ball (Impressive 4sure)

Noticed Heels didn't have any Natties in fishing like our Midland Rivals OR in Wimmens Doubles Skull Rowing like us..

or in golf!

Do we even have a wimens soccer or lacrosse? I know it’s big up north. Do we have men’s lacrosse or field hockey... have to look that one up. I guess you use a ball instead of a puck.

That is impressive 22 in anything. Then again, if you’re one of only 20 colleges that offer it, then it may not be that impressive.

Lacrosse and field hockey are big in yankee country

They spread into the midwest a bit (I know field hockey at least makes it to Big Ten country). Stuff like this is a lot like the college cup rankings... it's great for the schools who do well with it, but everyone can't bankroll 52 varsity sports. I'm proud of who we are, even without every sport under the sun.

Hey now, Lacrosse is pretty cool. I would've played it if myou high school offered it. Watching it on the other hand is difficult at times.
