He is an unquestioned "take" !
Look at the film , he plays in the tidewater region of VA which is a football crazy hotbed for recruiting and he plays fast and furious ...which is Venables style.
No way if he decides on committing that he does not get a scholly.

He called Clemson his "dream offer" at one point. I think if we had more room for him, we'd have probably recruited him harder and would be his top school. We may still end up being his top school when all is said and done.

I think he'd be just as a good, if not an upgrade, to what we'll have on campus next year.

As others said, it's not a question of whether Clemson would want to take his verbal if he offered it, it's whether Clemson can maintain its commitment to the guys already on the squad if it does. It appears we might've taken too many LBs in past years to responsibly allow Simmons to commit. But I would hope, if that's the case, that they're letting Simmons know that.
