and lets him build God like stats, then we have a heisman trophy winner at Clemson? That's how I see it. We had more close games than anticipated this year, but if Dabo leaves #4 in to finish games against lesser competition, then good chance he wins it. I like the way Dabo does it though. #### this award and it's dumb a$$ voters who don't do their homework and just vote on stats. Anyone who watches college football from start to finish knows Deshaun is the best player in the game today. It's not just about the stats. It's about the will to win. It's about pre-snap reads, its about handling adversity, it's about leadership. No one does those things better than #4 for Clemson.

But it's okay. This will be the final piece of the puzzle to will this team to a National Championship. This team feeds on the disrespect card. No USA today 1st or 2nd team players? #4 once again gets snubbed as the best player in college football? He should have won it last year. Oh well. Good Luck OSU and whoever we meet in the final. You're gonna need it. Clemson will be this year's 2016 National Champions, regardless what the agenda driven moronic media think.

Lamar padding his stats against lesser opponents

Agree with this and believe the exact criteria of what the heisman qualities are unknown. Best stats, best highlight moments, best leadership, off field credibility, etc.
Perhaos this disappointment will make DW even more focused to prove who he best team in America is this season!

... or maybe he gets a season or career ending injury from being in the game when he should be on the sideline while the other players (who work just as hard if not harder) get some well-deserved snaps.

He idiot...I'm not advocating playing Deshaun for 4 quarters. Please read my post again and pay attention to the part where I said "I like the way Dabo does it". This is insinuating that I don't think Deshaun should play 4 quarters in blow out games, just in case you need it explained differently. But you just had to post didn't you.

The voters may be idiots, but the truth is what most of them know about these players is what they see on Sports Center. And Lamar Jackson was shoved down everybody's throat all season. Even at the end when he wasn't playing so well, they were spinning it to make him look good.
