So I happened to be in Athens yesterday,

and apparently it was their spring G-day game. It was late afternoon and all the out-of-towners jammed up Atlanta Highway on their way home. So the wife and I decided to stop at the Taco Stand for a bite to eat while traffic cleared up.
Just when we were wrapping things up, another couple pulled up in the booth next to ours all decked out in Georgia gear. I asked how the spring game was, and the fella answered that black had just beaten red, or red beat black----not sure what that should mean to anyone. Then I asked what they thought about the upcoming Clemson game.
The young lady scoffed, "Clemson?!?" As the young man replied, "I'm more interested to see what happens against South Carolina."
I think I'm going to head over for a taco & a beer on Sept. 1st, to re-evaluate the mood in Athens.

Take it or leave...they hate south carolina more now since south carolina have became competitive these last few year. We hardly play them now...

much of anything, much less having a high football acumen. It seems like they win the SEC Least by default every year just so they get to be the ones to get blown out by Bama. They did make it to the all mighty SECCG so Murray could throw another pick or two...after getting dragged by 30 against the coots earlier in the saeson. If only we had SEC speed, we could hold our own against an ESecPN opponent that played for the NC just last year. OOPS! I can't wait to drill the dawgs and their fan bases' undeserved feeling of superiority into submission, just like we did LSU!

the hills of N.Georgia hide so many drooling, monosyllabic thugs that fill Sanford on a regular basis....of course, since those besotted goobers stopped destroying the hedges that Sanford made famous, numbers in the Security Force have levelled off...........:~) Auburn had opposing fans kill their iconic landscape, UGay fans did it themselves

As much as it sucks, The game is FAR more important for Clemson than it is for georgia.
Winning the SEC = National championship bid regardless of their out of conference schedule (for the most part)
Our MOST important games are OOC.
